How to remove “Find My Mac” (FMM) from your MacBook

This video will show you how to remove the "Find My Mac" and "iCloud" features from your MacBook before we collect it for repair.

Click the Apple icon in the top left corner

Click “System Preferences” to open

Click the “Apple ID” icon to open Apple ID settings

Look for “Find My Mac” in the list, click the “Options” next to “Find My Mac”

Click “Turn Off” to disable Find My Mac

You will be asked to enter your Apple ID password to confirm

You should now see “Off” next to “Find My Mac” as confirmation it was successful, click “Done” to close

Now click on “Overview” this will be under the image/name in the top left

Click “sign out” to remove the iCloud account from the device
