How we started

Our journey began 10 years ago as a small spare parts distributor with big ambitions. Through our unwavering commitment to product quality & safety, we established our Company as Europe’s leading distributor of laptop parts. Over time we leveraged our parts and supply chain knowledge to diversify into Consumer Electronics Repair & Claims Management.

GDPR & The Data Protection Act are cornerstones of any modern business. For a technology service Company handling customers’ physical devices, this legislation takes on added significance. Greenbridge Technology are committed to delivering on all aspects of data protection legislation, and are registered partners of CyberEssentials, White Canyon & Blancco.

Data Protection

In order to protect our customer’s personal data, all devices are wiped and restored to factory settings before they are dispatched. To assist us in this regard, we partner with a global data wiping software company and are able to destroy data to many globally approved standards. If a device is not able to be repaired, it will be wiped and/or disposed of in a compliant manner using Approved Treatment Facilities (ATFs).

Greenbridge Technology are fully compliant with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and are a Cyber Essentials certified company (Cert Number: IASME-CEP-007391 [2022] and externally audited Cyber Essentials Plus b5e2d679-7e75-44e2-ab54-316ed39cc736 [2023]). We are also a registered member of the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) under number ZA546687.

Environmental impact

Greenbridge Technology promote and encourage repair over replace. By giving devices a second life, and re-purposing those which cannot be, we reduce the amount of electronic waste. Greenbridge Technology are committed to reducing the amount of electrical waste that ends up in landfill. By using reusable collection totes and recyclable return packaging we try to minimise the amount of single-use waste. All electronic waste is handled by regulated and compliant recycling companies.
